MTH551 Healthcare Statistics

This course provides the basic knowledge required for the analysis, presentation and application of data relevant to nursing and healthcare issues. Fundamental to these skills, students will study descriptive and inferential statistics, sample and data preparation, probability and hypothesis testing, levels of data, measure of central tendencies, t, 相关性, 和方差分析, x平方分布, and regression analysis. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to apply statistical knowledge in evidence-based nursing practice.
